Joe has used 'smoke' imagery and I'd like to add some images of my own. I
feel that we are still partly in the clouds (flying high with big visions)
and partly in the fog (trying to figure out where we are and where/how we
want to go). I think answers to some of Joe's question might help the fog
lift a little and also help us to get clearer about visions. Perhaps that
would be among the first tasks in our work (similar to doing 'homework' and
market-research prior to beginning an enterprise).
I don't want to be throwing out cold water ('scuse mixed metaphors) but I
suggest we spend some more time in general discussion -- and first agree
on/establish a vehicle for that -- before we leap in with formalizing a
WAOE. I think many of the posts are exploratory, suggestive, thoughtful
contributions as grist-for-the-mill; I have a concern that, out of our
eagerness, we may jump to formalization too quickly. Is anyone else feeling
like some things appear to be moving too fast? Or have I just misinterpreted
some of the posts?
