As a contribution to the creation of a beautiful WAOE fractal out of the
present richly whirling chaos, could I request that everybody who's been
contributing to the development of WAOE BBS or to KEYONE-L check the
following membership list as the Membership Planning Committee currently
has it. If your name is not there, and you want to be formally included
as a member - so that you'll get bulletins and newsletters etc as the
organisation gets more and more under way - PLEASE let me know.
Likewise, if your name it there and you don't want it to be, let me
know. And thirdly, if you know of any person who SHOULD be on the
Steering Committee but currently isn't, give me a name and email address
so I can make contact.

The above lists all people who have advised that they want to be on the
Committee, or who have been nominated by other members. The Membership
Planning Committee will assume all the people listed are to be included
in the developing database, unless I am advised of any withdrawals. It's
additional names that I'm particularly keen to pin down, as I have
noticed some recent BBS postings or KEYONE-L messages from people who
aren't listed.
It is still strongly intended to be inclusive and open. The point of
this posting is that we have also to get a little bit organised! Please
communicate directly to me - even though I monitor the two discussion
forums regularly, it is possible to miss stuff among the growing welter
of postings.
As soon as we can manage it - hopefully within a week or so - we will
put out a request for professional and some personal details to
identified members, looking to build information profiles to help
organise the work of WAOE and its committee structure, and future
networking among the members. Obviously, this request will go out to a
specific email list, not the KEYONE-L or the BBS, so it will be vital to
have your name on our books if you want to be party to that.
In the meantime, any suggestions members have about points of
information that they would find useful would be very welcome. And also
anything that you would like to tell us and others about yourselves.
I've pulled together information from the TCC98 intros and other
relevant bits in the public domain, which is helping us to think about
the kinds of information that the membership database should collect and
make searchable.
Regards
David
