Greetings, This note is to anyone who participated in the spring conference
online out of which the WAOE was formed. You are receiving this through the
"keyone-l" listserver, which was one of the discussion lists connected to
that conference. Since the conference, a group has begun to put together a
worldwide association for online education. We are reaching a key turning
point in this process in that we are incorporating in one state in the U.S.
(California) and are formalizing some bylaws etc. for this purpose. Toward
this aim, we will have voting procedures in place in the next week.

Only about half of those who are on this keyone-l list are currently
registered on the "official" mailinglist of the waoe (waoe-views or
waoe-news). We want to be sure that everyone is included in these early
processes so are sending out this message to let you know. If you would
like to take part in the voting procedures of the formation of the WAOE,
please be sure you come to the waoe website at www.waoe.org, and under the
"communication" page find out how to register with the main
listserve(waoe-views) through which you can then participate in the process.
You will need to subscribe to this listserver according to the directions
given, and this will put you into the process. As well, each of the two
listserves are actually archived, so you can go back in time (the wonders of
this medium!) and view past discussions and deliberations.

If you are interested, please respond in a timely way, as voting, for
incorporation purposes, will take place in the next few weeks.

Best wishes,

Brian Donohue-Lynch
